We are a newly opened hotel in Middleburg Heights, currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing repair needs, and ensuring the overall functionality and appearance of the hotel's facilities. Full-time and part-time positions are available for day shifts, including 7 am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and guest room appliances.

• Respond to guest and staff repair requests in a timely and professional manner, communicating any issues or delays effectively.

• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to identify and address maintenance concerns in guest rooms and public areas.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inventory of supplies and equipment.

• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to reduce the likelihood of equipment malfunctions and extend the lifespan of hotel assets.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies while performing maintenance duties.

• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Technical training or certification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a related field is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
