Manufacturing Co‑Op (Production Operations)

About The Manufacturing Co‑Op Program

Nestlé USA’s Manufacturing Co‑Op Program is a development experience designed to give selected individuals real‑world exposure while pursuing their degree and deepening their understanding of manufacturing at Nestlé USA.

The Co‑Op Program consists of a 3 month rotational experience in a factory environment, intended to build capability and understanding of continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment at Nestlé USA.

Whether joining as a junior or senior, participants receive an exciting introduction to the world of Nestlé USA and gain insight into the various departments that collaborate to bring our products to life. As you progress in your educational career, you will experience a unique breadth of work assignments within your area of expertise.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Co‑Op, you will learn and grow while delivering results for Nestlé USA through key projects, systems, and people.

Project assignments provide opportunities to:

  • Demonstrate initiative
  • Work cross‑functionally
  • Build knowledge and skills by recommending organizational actions focused on cost savings or operational efficiencies
  • Each Co‑Op is expected to complete a value‑added project within the program timeframe.

Sample Projects

Examples of projects may include:

  • Quality or process improvement projects using basic problem‑solving or statistical analysis
  • Standardizing work processes to improve operations and support training of new operators
  • Safety initiatives
  • Cost reduction initiatives, such as reducing time and rework caused by line start‑ups
  • Energy and waste conservation projects to reduce environmental impact and identify energy‑saving opportunities

Requirements:

Education

  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Management, Manufacturing, Logistics Management, or a related field
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills for data tracking and results analysis
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
  • Demonstrated learning agility
  • Ability to deliver results on challenging assignments

Additional Requirements

  • Comfortable working with people in various capacities within a factory setting
  • Able to work any shift, including second or third shift, as required
  • Open to working in environments that may be very cold, wet, or warm
  • Ability to start the program in May 2026

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $23.00 to $25.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
