Facility Operations Manager

Clean Harbors located in Belpre, OH is looking for a Facility Operations Manager to join their safety conscious team. The Facility Operations Manager is responsible for management of all plant operations such as oversee plant operations.

Pay: $70,000-75,000 DOE & 15% annual bonus potential

What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?

• Bachelor's degree is preferred;
• 5+ years of related experience is required;
• Experience working in a chemical plant, wastewater treatment plant, or related industrial plant is preferred; Knowledge of waste disposal regulations is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee multiple site-specific plant operations such as: d

  rum pumping, tank farm operations, truck offloading/loading in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, wastewater treatment, fuels blending, shredder operations, inventory and waste tracking scanning application, and proper warehousing requirements;

• Oversee 4-5 direct reports;
• Ensure proper waste routing and management according to specified efficiencies;
• Analyze and reviews profitability of facility in conjunction with the Director;

• Ensure that employees follow and maintain all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures. Holds employees accountable;
  
  

Develop daily production goals for multiple groups and ensures execution;

Review all applicable SOP’s;

Understand and drive Clean Compliance standard;

Emphasize productivity, health & safety, compliance and customer satisfaction; Ensure that each project has an operating plan and that facility personnel follow it; Perform onsite supervision, training and mentoring of employees; Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
