Experienced Dog Trainer
The Dog Wizard Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Balanced Dog Trainer to join our established, professional training team. This role is best suited for a confident trainer who is equally skilled working with dogs and their owners, and who values teamwork, consistency, and results.
Responsibilities:
- Train dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments.
- Handle cases including:
- Basic and advanced obedience.
- off-leash reliability.
- Reactivity, aggression, fear, and anxiety.
- Separation anxiety and behavior modification.
- Educate and coach clients (human training is a major component of this role).
- Work collaboratively with a tight-knit team of experienced trainers.
- Uphold company training standards and customer service expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional dog training experience.
- strong experience with balanced training methods and tools.
- Comfortable working with challenging behavior cases.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and professional.
- Ability to work 6 days per week with some control and flexibility over scheduling.
