Position Overview:

The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs routine and complex analytical procedures, recognizes deviations, and provides interpretation following established laboratory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-complexity diagnostic testing across hematology, chemistry, immunology, or microbiology.

• Analyze, interpret, and verify test results, ensuring precision and compliance with quality standards.

• Perform and document quality control procedures and equipment calibrations.

• Identify instrument malfunctions and perform basic troubleshooting.

• Maintain specimen integrity, laboratory documentation, and patient confidentiality.

• Provide guidance to less experienced staff and participate in ongoing process improvement.

• Support laboratory inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Experience performing high-complexity testing under CLIA standards.

• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and quality assurance processes.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
