Our client, a global Fortune company with a presence in over four dozen countries, has an urgent need to hire a highly skilled Clinical Engineering Director . This executive will lead a team of supervisors and technical professionals in overseeing and maintaining medical equipment within a large healthcare system. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare engineering manafer with a proven record of accomplishment in driving operational excellence and process improvement while mentoring high-performing teams.

As Director you will manage a team that ensures compliance with regulatory standards, maintains medical equipment , and enhances patient care through effective clinical engineering services. You will collaborate with engage with internal and external executives to support overall healthcare operations and achieve client satisfaction. This role offers significant growth potential and leadership opportunities for the right candidate who brings a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and business acumen.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a team of experienced supervisors and technicians who provide excellent technical and customer service to clinicians using hospital equipment such as X-rays machines, Computed Tomography (CT) scanners, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners, ultrasound machines, respiratory devices, electrocardiographs, dialysis machines, and other life-saving and/or monitoring equipment.
• Provide overall management and supervision, assuming full responsibility for the operational and fiscal performance with the client.
• Ensure all biomedical equipment meets regulatory standards (JACHO, DNV, CIHQ).
• Direct staff program management to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Work cross functionally to manage client and corporate relationships, building effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee activities related to biomedical services and equipment, including budgeting, purchasing and subcontracting.

What You’ll Bring:

• Five (5) or more years of leadership experience, preferably in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM), managing biomedical and equipment engineering services in a large healthcare system.
• Five (5) or more years of direct employee management, including interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and firing employees.
• Ideally, you will have some experience in maintenance and repair of clinical devices earlier in your career.
• Bachelor's degree OR a combination of equivalent experience and training.
• Experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, ideally including DNV, JACHO, CIHQ.
• Executive and C-level relationship expertise, along with proven skills in leading, mentoring, and developing successful teams.
