Parts Counterperson – Automotive Dealership

Jim White Honda is hiring a full-time Parts Counterperson to join our fast-paced, customer-focused Parts Department. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable using computers, and eager to learn the automotive industry in a structured, team-driven environment.

No automotive parts experience required. We provide paid training for motivated candidates with strong computer skills and a willingness to follow established processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist retail and wholesale customers with automotive parts inquiries and purchases
• Support service technicians and advisors by sourcing parts for repair orders
• Use dealership computer systems (CDK/Drive) to look up, order, and bill parts
• Accurately follow established procedures and department processes
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and inventory locations
• Use Excel, Google Docs, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook for daily communication, tracking, and documentation
• Provide professional customer service by phone, email, and in person
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Qualifications:

• Automotive or dealership experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong computer skills required , including familiarity with:
• Microsoft Excel
• Google Docs
• Microsoft Teams
• Microsoft Outlook (email & calendar use)
• Comfortable learning new dealership software systems
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and standard operating processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Job Type & Schedule:

• Full-time position
• Day shift
• Rotating Saturdays required
