Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Internal Medicine/Telemetry Unit
• Assignment Length: Up to 18 weeks (confirm preferred contract length at submission)
• Start Date: September 5, 2025
• End Date: January 9, 2026
• Shifts: Rotating Day (7:00am – 7:30pm) and Night (7:00pm – 7:30am); 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250 - $2310 per week
• Employment Type: Travel/Locum Tenens Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (prior to any travel nursing assignments)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license required at time of submission
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all must be active and current)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required for submission
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and every other holiday as needed
• Must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond promptly to changes in patient condition, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Administer medications, perform comprehensive assessments, and document patient care accurately
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training, including required assessments
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while adapting to rotating shifts and supporting operational needs
