As leaders in cloud innovation, OCI is driving transformation with dedicated, hybrid, multi-cloud, and edge computing deployments-redefining what's possible for the cloud ecosystem.

About Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO)

You are respected for providing technical direction, simplifying complexity, improving operational outcomes, and raising the engineering bar throughout the organization. • Mentor, coach, and develop engineers at all levels; foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and business leaders to define roadmaps and deliver high-impact outcomes.

  • Drive rigorous code and design reviews, operational readiness, and best practice adoption across the organization.

  • Represent OCI TSO in cross-organization initiatives, executive briefings, and industry forums.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 12+ years' experience delivering distributed, mission-critical cloud services at large scale.

  • Recognized expertise in writing and reviewing high-quality code in C/C++, Go, or similar languages.

  • Exceptional knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system-level optimization for performance and scale.

  • Extensive experience with networking data-plane architectures (e.g., DPU-based or DPDK-based solutions).

  • Expertise in network virtualization, protocols, and distributed systems design.

  • Proven experience leading operationally critical, Tier-0 platform and infrastructure teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in Linux internals, distributed system troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
