About This Role
A substitute teacher will take the place of an ill teacher or a teacher on vacation. It is not a full time position and hours are between 7:30am and 6:00pm. The hours worked on any given day are preset shifts.
What You'll Do- Assist Teachers in implementing curriculum and daily duties
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are followed
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Ensure the safety and security of children
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children and parents) and to foster a team environment
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening
- Ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, talk to and hear voices at many levels. Able to get down and back up from the floor easily
- A specific vision ability will be required to see up close and up to a certain distance, have peripheral vision and depth perception
