Machine Operator

Minutemen Staffing is currently Looking for Machine Operators who have Experience with CNC, Metal Sheet, Blueprint, Stamping, and Welding Experience. This is in the Dublin Area, Monday-Friday 8am-430pm. Pay ranges based on Experience. If you are Looking for a Long Career, this is the best Place.

* Inspect, measure, or test completed metal workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using measuring and testing devices.

* Read blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine product or job instructions or specifications.

* Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal components.

* Prepare metal surfaces or workpieces, using hand-operated equipment, such as grinders, cutters, or drills.

* Turn and press knobs and buttons or enter operating instructions into computers to adjust and start welding machines.

* Start, monitor, and adjust robotic welding production lines.

* Observe gauges to ensure that machines are operating properly, making adjustments or stopping machines when problems occur.

* Cut metal or other materials, using shears or band saws.

* Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.

* Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.

• Set up and operate CNC machines like lathes, mills, and grinders
• Write and test programs
• Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
• Adjust the machine to control the speed, material feed, and the path of the cut
• Track a product through each phase of its creation

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
