Location: Geneva, OH
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00/7:00 AM – 2:30/3:30 PM
Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (depending on experience)

Position Overview

M Force Partners is seeking an experienced Planner II to support production operations and manufacturing scheduling activities. This Planner II role is responsible for selecting and sequencing jobs based on Master Production Schedule (MPS) driven demand and ensuring work is scheduled efficiently across workstations and machines.

The ideal Planner II will have strong experience in production planning, materials management, and manufacturing operations. This Planner II position plays a key role in coordinating planning activities, maintaining build plans, and ensuring materials and resources are aligned to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select and sequence available jobs based on MPS demand for specific workstations or machines
  • Meet regularly with contracts teams to review pending and recently received demand and assign planner responsibilities
  • Manage overall workload and align resources to maintain balanced production flow
  • Maintain manufacturing build plans on a daily basis
  • Maintain run times and setup times associated with each job, product, or part
  • Create and maintain expected completion timelines for scheduled jobs
  • Review production schedules and confirm raw materials are available to support planned runs
  • Develop forward-looking plans to support purchase requisitions and monitor incoming materials
  • Monitor and coordinate outside services required for production operations
  • Consolidate demand for purchase requisitions to support manufacturing schedules
  • Identify critical parts and highlight potential issues that may impact the Master Production Schedule
  • Drive communication between planning, project accounting, and project management teams
  • Support organizational mission, values, and operational goals
  • Follow quality and safety standards within the manufacturing environment
  • Support additional projects and perform other duties as assigned
  • Limited travel may be required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, or materials planning
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling and project material management
  • Experience working with MRP systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Pivot Tables, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and quality orientation
  • Ability to collaborate with customers, vendors, employees, and management across departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
