Job Title: Production Worker - Name Plates & Labels

Location: Austintown/Youngstown, OH area - On-site, Full-Time
Shift: [e.g., First Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.]
Salary: Starting at $17.50/hr (Top rate $21.88/hr, commensurate with experience)

The Cubbison Company, a stable and well-established manufacturer in business since 1951, is a leader in high-quality, custom name plates and labels. We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our safety-first production team.

In this hands-on role, you will be a crucial part of our manufacturing process, ensuring quality and meeting quotas. You will be cross trained to work with various manufacturing techniques, including screen printing, digital printing, laser cutting, and stamping. We provide all necessary on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Machinery: Learn to set up and run various production equipment (printing presses, cutting tools, etc.).
• Quality Control: Monitor products for defects and ensure they meet customer specifications.
• Material Handling: Load raw materials into machines and transport materials or finished products.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Documentation: Log production numbers and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to utilize calipers and other measuring devices
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team-focused mindset
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions

Preferred (but not required):

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Mechanical aptitude and basic problem-solving skills
• Experience with Screen Printing or operating lasers or other printing processes is a strong plus
