Millat Industries, a family-owned manufacturing company celebrating 60 years of success, is seeking a Controller to lead our financial operations, drive process improvements, and partner closely with our operational teams. Your Responsibilities:

As a Controller, you will:

• Lead and manage the accounting team, providing mentorship and support.
• Maintain the company’s financial books, ensuring timely monthly closings and accurate reporting.
• Prepare forecasts, cost accounting analyses, and cash flow projections to guide executive decision-making.
• Manage banking relationships, borrowing needs, and tax-related documentation.
• Oversee AR/AP processes, tax credit programs, and the 401k program.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, ERP (JobBOSS), and reporting processes.
• Partner with operational leaders across three manufacturing divisions to provide financial insights and support.
• Support enterprise-level accounting and other strategic projects as needed.

Your Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in finance/accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skillset in cost accounting, S-Corporation tax knowledge, ERP expertise, and advanced Excel/data analysis.
• Experience leading teams; collaborative and approachable style with the ability to coach and reverse-mentor.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with peers, operations teams, and external partners.
• Reliable, quality-oriented, and committed to being a trusted financial steward.

• Schedule – Approx. 45 hours/week, core hours 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday
