Licensed Lead Abatement Technician

Job Summary
Charmed Enterprises LLC is a certified lead-safe and licensed lead abatement contractor specializing in residential renovation and hazard control. We partner with municipal programs and nonprofit organizations to complete high-impact projects throughout Cuyahoga County.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of awarded contracts, we are seeking Licensed Lead Abatement Technicians to join our team. This is a full-time, field-based position offering consistent work, professional structure, and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform lead abatement, lead-safe renovations, and hazard control in compliance with EPA and State of Ohio regulations
• Set up containment systems and execute safe demolition practices
• Conduct HEPA vacuuming, detailed cleaning, encapsulation, and component replacement
• Prepare units for clearance testing
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant job sites at all times
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety standards
• Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule
• Complete required daily documentation, including logs and job site photos for compliance programs

Qualifications

• Experience in lead abatement, construction, demolition, or hazardous material handling preferred
• Familiarity with hand and power tools (scrapers, pry bars, drills, etc.)
• Carpentry, drywall, flooring, or general construction experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Ability to work in occupied residential environments and follow structured procedures
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in confined or variable conditions

Requirements (Mandatory)

• Active Ohio Lead Abatement Worker License (Required – no exceptions)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to follow company SOPs and compliance documentation requirements
• Professional attitude and ability to work effectively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA RRP Certification
• Experience working on city-funded or grant-supported projects
