217952 - Operator III Molding

Chipton-Ross is seeking a/ Molding Operator III for a contract opportunity in Cleveland, MS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Positions will require mandatory Overtime. Will be working 6-7 days a week. Overtime can be in the form of weekly OT not just weekend.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Comply with all requirements regarding safety and quality compliance and regulations. o Perform production inspections and document results while monitoring part output and part quality from molding machines. o Weigh count production, pack parts, and accurately label the production. o Report abnormalities and corrective action to shift leader/supervision. o Responsible for accurate documentation per Good Manufacturing Practices on production and quality records, cleaning forms, batch folder, etc. o Participate in and complete all required training. o Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises. o Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management. o Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). o Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur. o Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities o Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations a plus. o Mechanical aptitude required. o Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures. o Able to complete documentation legibly. o Trained as forklift driver preferred. o Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. o Low absenteeism.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

o Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL-01-01-037. o Audiometric testing and hearing protection required. o Ability to bend, stoop and climb ladders. o Ability to stand for long periods of time. o Ability to push and/or pull up to 75 pounds. o Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. o Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds. o In a Class I Controlled Environment which includes the following dress/gowning requirements:
safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask and boots (additional PPE required when cleaning). o Constant or intermittent exposure to elevated levels of noise. o Involves working around equipment, machinery and belts. o Requires occasionally working with chemical cleaners and disinfectants.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited high school diploma or ged. o Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.

WORK HOURS:

Full-Time-1st Shift- 07:00am-03:00pm Positions will require mandatory Overtime. Will be working 6-7 days a week. Overtime can be in the form of weekly OT not just weekend.
