Join our dynamic Army of Pet Care Warriors as a Dog Walker, Pet Care Drop-In Provider, or Overnight Sitter! We are seeking genuine animal lovers to join our team and serve Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights, University Heights, Lyndhurst, Pepper Pike and surrounding neighborhoods. Primary hours are 11 am - 3 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional morning, evening or weekend jobs.

In this energetic and rewarding role, you will deliver exceptional care to pets of all breeds and personalities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whether you're walking dogs through scenic routes, providing overnight companionship, or caring for pets during owners’ busy days, your dedication will make a meaningful difference in animals’ lives. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with animals in a supportive environment that values goodness, transparency and reliability.

Duties

• Walk dogs of various sizes and personalities, ensuring they receive proper exercise, mental stimulation, and potty breaks
• Provide overnight pet sitting services in clients’ homes, maintaining routines and administering medication as needed
• Feed pets according to specific dietary requirements and monitor their health
• Learn and use basic pet training commands to positively reinforce good behavior
• Handle animals safely to prevent stress or injury
• Maintain detailed logs of pet activities, behaviors, and any concerns to keep owners informed
• Perform light grooming tasks such cleaning paws to ensure pets are clean and comfortable after walks or outside visits

Qualifications

• True love and passion for animals
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Strong work ethic and reliability - able to handle all types of weather
• Ability to handle animals safely
• Trustworthiness to enter/stay in homes when owners are away
• Ability to use pet care-specific software system
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
• Prior experience with pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care helpful, but not required
