Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to perform electrical maintenance in our can line department. You will be responsible for maintenance repairs on conveyors, pumps, fans, screens, cylinders, and motors. The role requires troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety through Lockout/Tagout procedures. You will work with fine details, identify and solve problems, and communicate effectively between shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance in the can line department.
• Conduct maintenance repairs on conveyors, pumps, fans, screens, cylinders, and motors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
• Implement Lockout/Tagout procedures for safety.
• Work with fine details and ensure precision in tasks.
• Identify and solve electrical problems efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and between shifts.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in motor breakdown and troubleshooting for both 3-phase and single-phase motors.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• High voltage experience with 480V and 240V, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Skills in electrical conduit installation, troubleshooting, and industrial wiring.
• Journeyman License.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a paper or steel mill, chemical plant, or similar industrial setting.
• Experience working with high-speed packaging and bagging equipment is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75171.20 - $77251.20/yr.

$3000 sign on Bonus - ($1500 after 6 month $1500 after 1st year)
