Senior Precision CNC Operator (Close-Tolerance)

Role snapshot

• Own setups and production on CNC lathes and 3–4 axis mills based on specs and work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to plan machining steps.
• Monitor operations, verify dimensions, and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and resolve equipment problems quickly.
• Use precision metrology tools to confirm parts meet tolerance requirements.
• Collaborate with your team to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety practices.

What you bring

• High school diploma/GED required; technical machining education a plus.
• At least 5 years of CNC operating experience in manufacturing, preferably close‑tolerance work.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming concepts, G-codes, and M-codes.
• Hands-on use of calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
• Independent, team-oriented work style in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
