Job Title: Talent Acquisition SpecialistJob Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full life-cycle recruiting process, which includes recruiting, screening, recommending placements, and onboarding staff. This role requires collaboration with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to determine staffing needs and ensure a seamless hiring experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to determine staffing needs.

  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews by phone or in person.

  • Administer appropriate testing and reference/ background checks.

  • Make recommendations for hire or no hire and deliver employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt positions.

  • Utilize traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs and online job fairs to identify and attract quality candidates.

  • Collaborate with Sourcing Specialists to provide a diverse slate of qualified candidates.

  • Manage the internal transfer process, including interview coordination and transfer offer letters.

  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback on the recruiting process.

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals.

  • Communicate employment information, including benefits, compensation, and non-compete agreements, during employment offer delivery.

  • Ensure onboarding and new hire orientation processes are completed.

  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.

  • Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Maintain application/resume files and retention according to company policy.

  • Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to the industry.

  • Participate in the development of annual Affirmative Action Plans.

  • Suggest and implement ongoing process improvements for an effective, efficient, and compliant recruiting process.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in recruiting, talent acquisition, and full-cycle recruiting.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field preferred, or equivalent years of experience.

  • Two years of corporate experience in recruitment and placement of applicants in professional and management-level exempt positions.

  • One year of experience working with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Workday experience would be advantageous.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role offers PTO and holiday pay while on contract, with the opportunity for full-time employment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.75 - $31.00/hr.
