Electrical Technician Lead
Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $33.00/hr. to $40.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.
The Electrical Technician Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical maintenance activities at Honda customer sites. This is a hands-on leadership role that oversees a team of electrical and maintenance technicians, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Honda and company standards. The lead will provide technical expertise, manage daily operations, and serve as the primary point of contact for electrical projects.What You'll Do:
- Direct and support a team of electrical and maintenance technicians.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality workmanship.
- Mentor team members and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Perform and oversee electrical repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in production equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and Honda standards.
- Plan and schedule electrical maintenance projects.
- Coordinate resources, tools, and materials for timely completion.
- Communicate project status and resolve issues with Honda representatives.
- Enforce adherence to safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Conduct inspections and risk assessments for electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and repairs.
- Provide regular updates to management on team performance and project progress.
What You'll Need
- Technical diploma or certification in Electrical Technology or related field OR 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing environments preferred.
- Comfortable with hands-on technical tasks and working in industrial environments.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate project timelines.
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
