Program Coordinator

POSITION TITLE: PROGRAM COORDINATOR

DEPARTMENT: MUSKINGUM COUNTY CENTER FOR SENIORS

STATUS: FULL TIME (35-40 hours/week; occasional evening and weekend events)

SALARY RANGE: $16.00 - $18.00/HOUR (Compensation based on qualifications and experience.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.

● Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field preferred.

● Previous experience working with older adult population preferred.

● Knowledge of community resources for older adult population.

● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other computer applications including but not limited to Google products.

● Valid driver’s license with good driving record and access to reliable transportation.

● Pass all pre-employment screenings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary Focus: Conduct home visits with older adults to build relationships and encourage participation in Center and community programs tailored to their needs, such as Meals on Wheels and the Smile Maker program.
• Program Coordination: Manage the Smile Maker Program by enrolling participants and organizing regular phone calls to reduce isolation among older adults.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to schedule and complete home visits for the Meals on Wheels program.
• Ethical Standards: Adhere to ethical guidelines and procedures when working with the community and special populations.
• Cross-Training: Assist with additional Senior Center operations as needed to support overall program success
