Position: Medication Partner
- Position Type: Full Time
- Location: Strongsville, OH
- Starting wage: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
- Shift schedule:
- Week 1: Monday, Saturday, Sunday – 7p-7a
- Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday – 7p-7a
- Weekend On‑Call: One Saturday or Sunday shift per month
Responsibilities
- Be an Advocate of Empathy – create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
- Be a Generous Gift Giver – be present, share talents, be reliable.
- Be 100% – create an inclusive positive environment.
- Be an Engaged Egghead – be curious, ask questions, engage in growth and training.
- Ensure proper administration of medication.
- Maintain medication carts and recordkeeping.
- Be proactive assisting residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, oral care).
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18.
- Appropriately certified per state guidelines; certification active and in good standing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Mature interpersonal skills to work with co‑workers.
- Read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive energetic attitude; love residents.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
- Good health; physically and mentally capable; health screening within 6 months; TB free at time and annually thereafter.
