Experienced Maintenance Tech

Banyan Living, a respected leader in luxury apartment management in the greater Cleveland and Columbus areas, is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our committed team. This vital role ensures that our properties are maintained to the highest standards, providing an exceptional living experience for our residents.

As an Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will leverage your skills to carry out repairs, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to the overall upkeep of our apartments and community spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Respond to service requests from residents in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform repairs on a variety of systems and appliances as needed.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by completing necessary repairs and renovations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks and manage supplies effectively.
• Work closely with property management to address and resolve maintenance-related issues.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in all work areas and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well with residents and team members.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
• Physically capable of performing maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must be available for on-call duties as needed.
