Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team in conducting chemical and physical analyses. This role supports the development of manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical products and provides analytical support for the release of registration materials in support of regulatory submissions. You will also assist in analytical method validation and transfer activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples, perform standard weighs, dilutions, wet chemistry, titrations, HPLC, NGI, and admitted dose analyses.
• Conduct assigned analytical tasks in support of product development, registration lot release, and pre- and post-regulatory submission activities.
• Complete activities within assigned timelines while adhering to cGXP's, and company practices and procedures.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices.
• Document analytical activities and results accurately, in a timely manner, maintaining data integrity.
• Identify execution challenges of analytical methods and support troubleshooting activities.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in dilutions, sample preparation, chemistry, biochemistry, wet chemistry, titration, and gas chromatography.
• Experience in research and development and new product development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Lab experience outside of academia is preferred.
• Experience with data acquisition software is desirable.
• Ability to work with supervision, using scientific judgment and professional competency.

Work Environment

The lab is organized with teams consisting of Scientist I's, II's, and III's. You will work collaboratively to accomplish tasks but will also spend some time working independently. The lab is state-of-the-art, very clean, and follows GMP standards. The dress code is business casual and the shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
