Our established and growing dental practice in Mt. Gilead, Ohio is seeking a skilled and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who enjoys working closely with the doctor to provide high-quality patient care while helping maintain an efficient and productive clinical environment.

This is a great opportunity for an EFDA who wants to work in a supportive practice that values teamwork, efficiency, and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Place and finish composite restorations under doctor supervision

• Place liners, bases, and bonding agents

• Assist with crown, bridge, and restorative procedures

• Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos

• Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns and restorations

• Assist with impressions, scanning, and restorative workflow

• Maintain proper sterilization and infection control protocols

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures

• Support the doctor in delivering efficient, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Ohio EFDA certification

• Dental assisting experience required

• Strong understanding of restorative dentistry procedures

• Excellent attention to detail and clinical skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset
