Patient Coordinator - Dental Office (Scheduling & Insurance Focus)
Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time | Weekdays + rotating Saturdays
About the Role
We are looking for a Patient Coordinator to support front desk operations at a busy dental office in Franklin, Ohio. This role focuses on managing patient scheduling, assisting with insurance verification, and helping maintain an organized and efficient daily workflow.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out
- Answer phone calls and help with general inquiries
- Verify dental insurance benefits prior to visits
- Enter and update patient information in Dentrix or similar systems
- Collect payments and review basic billing questions
- Communicate with clinical staff to keep schedules on track
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office (preferred)
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar scheduling software
- Experience with insurance verification is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented
Work Location
Franklin, OH (in-person role)
Reliable transportation to the office is required.
