Strader’s Garden Centers – King Avenue
Full-time or Part-time | Seasonal
Love plants, people, and staying active during the workday? Our King Avenue store is a small, team-focused location where associates gain hands-on experience across the entire garden center—including greenhouse, houseplants, indoor merchandise, and cashiering.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with plant selection, care questions, and product recommendations
- Water, organize, and restock plants and merchandise throughout the store
- Work in multiple departments, including checkout and indoor retail areas
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately
- Help receive shipments and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment
Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Willing to learn plant care, products, and seasonal tasks
- Retail or plant experience is helpful, but not required
