Central station assistant supervisor

Job Description:

Northwestern Ohio Security Systems is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Central Station Assistant Supervisor to support our monitoring operations. This role requires flexibility to work any shift---including nights, weekends, and holidays---and to cover absences and emergencies as needed. Responsibilities include data entry, report generation, customer service, and assisting with scheduling and interviewing. The Assistant Supervisor sets a professional example for the team and ensures smooth operations in the absence of the Central Station Supervisor.

Responsibilities Include:

• Data entry for zoning, user codes, phone lists, etc.
• Reporting - Auto reports and customer report requests.
• Attend Service & Central Station meetings as needed.
• Must stay current on both company and central station policies.
• Communicating with field technicians to resolve customer issues.
• The position involves covering call-offs, emergencies, vacations, and other issues that may occur when the Central Station Supervisor is unavailable, on vacation, or on personal time.
• The position requires being on call to answer questions and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Handle customer complaints in a timely manner to achieve full customer satisfaction.
• Report to the supervisor of any incidents that affect the quality of service we give to the customer. Examples: mishandled alarms, procedures not followed, etc.
• Assist in scheduling & interviewing for new monitoring positions.

Requirements and Qualifications :

• Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. (Primary Hours: 4 PM to 12 AM)
• Must be available to cover absences, emergencies, vacations, and call-offs at any time.
• Reports directly to the Central Station Supervisor.
• Must be dependable, professional, and customer focused.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate data and high service standards.
