Do you notice imperfections others miss? We’re looking for a detail-driven Recon Center Support Specialist to oversee vehicle intake and quality control—playing a key role in delivering top-quality inventory to our customers.

This is more than a car-moving job. Your attention to detail directly impacts vehicle quality, recon efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Intake & Inventory

• Add units to Rapid Recon and organize inventory by store

• Tag keys accurately (VIN, mileage, store, Y/M/M)

• Inspect carrier deliveries and sign Bills of Lading

• Check Carfax for open recalls and integrate into recon plans

Inspection & Triage

• Compare vehicle condition to appraisals and condition reports

• Perform preliminary inspections (tires, lights, electronics, cosmetics, frame)

• Conduct test drives to identify performance issues

• Document missed items on trade-ins for purchasing feedback

Arbitration & Communication

• Identify auction issues and initiate arbitration when needed

• Communicate vehicle status and repair needs to Recon and Purchasing teams

Final Quality Control

• Verify detailing quality

• Confirm oil stickers, plate frames, and completion of all noted repairs before vehicles return to the store

General Operations

• Assist with vehicle pick-ups, deliveries, and refueling

• Help write Repair Orders for detailing

Qualifications

• Strong “consumer eye” for dents, noises, and electronic issues

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Comfortable with technology; dealership software experience a plus

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Able to work outdoors and stay active in all weather conditions

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

• Possible future Saturday rotation based on business needs
