• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic (Mill Run Exam Unit)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel RN Contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
• Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends or holidays)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1920 - $1970

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience (oncology nursing or outpatient RN preferred)
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state nursing license required)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• EPIC EMR charting experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Ability to provide two professional references (one from a manager/director or formal leadership)

RN Responsibilities – Outpatient Oncology Clinic

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with gynecological cancers
• Assist with outpatient procedures: biopsies, colposcopy, paracentesis, Foley and staple removal
• Perform telephone triage and patient education for oncology patients
• Support new diagnoses, post-op, follow-up, chemotherapy returns, and second opinion clinic visits
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy
• Utilize specialized clinical equipment (Hoyer lift, ultrasound for paracentesis, high-level disinfection for speculums)
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical record system
