Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Location: Facilities across OH State

Pay Rate: $50 – $52/hour (based on experience)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Multiple Shifts available

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team. This position involves performing routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable imaging exams across various settings, including diagnostic departments, nursing units, outpatient areas, and surgery. The ideal candidate will ensure top-quality patient care and safety while delivering accurate diagnostic images in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality imaging
• Assist in exam scheduling and coordinate with other departments when necessary
• Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Operate imaging equipment and manage computer systems for scheduling, ordering, and reporting
• Promptly report any equipment issues to the manager and Clinical Engineers
• Provide support and guidance to Radiologic Technologist students during their training
• Participate in duties related to equipment quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and departmental audits

Qualifications

Experience:

• Must have experience in operating x-ray machines and performing radiographic exams in an OR setting
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology and proper patient positioning

Education & Certification:

• Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
• ARRT Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) (Required)
