Press Operator

Ready to trade the morning rush for a high-impact career in Hebron? Join a global manufacturing leader as a Press Operator on our 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). At $24.18/hr (including shift differential), you won’t just be pushing buttons. You’ll become a technical expert, performing die changes, mastering precision measurements, and driving the preventative maintenance that keeps our production floor humming.

We’re looking for a safety-oriented problem solver with a mechanical "ear" and a positive attitude. From day one, you’ll join a culture built on teamwork and excellence, with a clear roadmap to mastering mechanical repairs and Lean manufacturing within your first year.

Responsibilities

• Ability to visually differentiate between patterns of operation.
• Ability to hear differences between normal and abnormal operation.
• Ability to act quickly to stop the press when abnormal operation occurs.
• Ability to use basic precision measurement tools.
• Documented evidence of prior forklift experience or ability to earn an Allied Tube & Conduit Fork Lift Certification.
• Capable of wearing the required personal protective equipment while performing all tasks.
• Ability to follow operational and safety instructions.

• Load and unload raw materials and finished product using fork trucks and other material handling devices.
• Perform Die changes, preventive maintenance and other tasks as assigned.
• Monitor quality and take immediate corrective actions.
• Meet or exceed basic production standards.
• Actively and productively participate in team functions.
• Communicate and report all Quality and Productivity non-conformance.
• Maintain a customer focus.
• Maintain all production logs and data as required.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at all times.
• Strive for continuous improvement of all pressing processes.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• standing for 10 hours at one time
