Teacher - School/Day Hours

URGENT HIRING:
Are you subbing but looking for something more consistent? Huntington Learning Center is hiring dynamic math and ELA tutors to teach small group, middle school levels, in person at Big Walnut Middle School during the school day. This is NOT a remote position. You must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree.

• Part-Time: 15-35 hours a week, Monday-Friday, hours and days may vary.
• Location: IN PERSON, at Big Walnut Middle School in Sunbury, OH.
• Middle School-aged students, math or ELA.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED.
• Prior teaching experience PREFERRED.
• Valid teaching certificate preferred but not required.

COMPENSATION:

• With Bachelors Degree only: $22.00 per hour.
• With valid Teaching Certification: from $25.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum.
• Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs.
• Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times.
• Maintain student records of attendance and progress.

• Possess computer literacy skills for maintaining student records.
• Must clear background checks for employment eligibility.
