Software QA Assurance Analyst - Remote

What You'll Do:

Ensure Quality: Execute testing procedures to guarantee that software meets established quality standards.
Create Test Plans: Develop and write testing scripts and plans to verify that software functions as expected.
Prepare Test Data: Create data sets to test logic, error handling, and system workflows.
Find and Track Bugs: Isolate, reproduce, and track defects.
Verify Fixes: Confirm that reported issues have been successfully resolved.
Document Testing: Document testing procedures as required.
Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with developers and product managers to build scalable applications that streamline information flow, increase operational capacity, and manage big data.
What You'll Need:

2+ years of software quality assurance testing experience.
A passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Extensive experience writing and executing test cases within a formal software development process.
Strong ability to translate business and functional requirements and user stories into executable tests.
Familiarity with continuous integration, release management, and automation processes and technologies (familiarity with Python is a plus).
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business-oriented team members.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bonus Points For:

Experience with Gherkin, Cucumber, or similar pseudo-code language for testing.
Understanding of behavior-driven development (BDD).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
