Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: On-site in North Canton, OH

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Salary: $47,000 – $53,000, based on experience

Key Responsibilities (Accounts Payable Specialist):

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and check requests
• Code, match, and enter invoices accurately into the system
• Prepare invoices for payment and assist with check runs and electronic payments
• Track accounts to ensure timely and accurate payments
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• Maintain organized vendor records and handle vendor communication
• Support month-end close activities and provide documentation for audits
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with general ledger reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting procedures

Qualifications (Accounts Payable Specialist):

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• At least two years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
• Comfortable working with accounting systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
• Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
