Travel Oncology RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio (44106) – Ohio nursing jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Medical Oncology Unit (Step Down experience highly preferred)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 19, 2025 – January 17, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,360 - $2,420

Oncology Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio with Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in oncology nursing or step-down/telemetry setting
• ACLS certification required
• Proficient in chemotherapy administration and monitoring for adverse reactions
• Skilled in cardiac arrhythmia interpretation and response
• Advanced respiratory care experience (tracheostomy, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP/BiPAP)
• Experience with end-of-life care or hospice nursing preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to recognize and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Completion of all required onboarding, health, and professional documentation

Travel Oncology RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in a clinical setting
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments, managing side effects and complications
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to critical patient changes
• Provide advanced respiratory support, including trach and chest tube management, and non-invasive ventilation
• Support patients and families through end-of-life care and hospice situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and comply with hospital policies
