Job Title: Provider Integration Specialist

Location: Norwood, OH 45212

Duration: 16+ Weeks (with possible extension)

Shift Options: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Provider Integration Specialist to oversee and coordinate all aspects of new provider onboarding and integration within a healthcare network. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless transition for incoming, transferring, and departing providers by collaborating with multiple departments including medical staff, leadership, and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and experience in physician onboarding or recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end integration of new providers, ensuring all administrative, operational, and logistical needs are met prior to their first day.

• Partner with cross-functional departments to coordinate onboarding for new providers, as well as transitions for those changing or adding locations.

• Manage offboarding processes for departing providers, ensuring all necessary documentation, benefits information, and equipment retrieval are completed.

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, balancing time and attention across competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

• Identify and implement continuous process improvements related to provider integration and onboarding.

• Lead project management and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

• Maintain strong communication with department leaders, ensuring timely completion of all integration tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement or project management within a healthcare environment.

• Proven experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage projects effectively under tight timelines.

• Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.

• At least 2.5 years of experience working directly with physicians or advanced practice providers.

• Prior experience in physician onboarding or locum recruitment .
