Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43210
• Assignment Type: Travel healthcare job
• Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Department
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: February 2, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 4x10-hour days (7:30am – 6:00pm), Monday–Friday, rotating day off
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2880–$2950
• Call Requirement: One primary weekday and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks (alternating primary/backup)
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit: 8 procedure rooms, daily census 20–40

Interventional Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or radiology technologist roles
• Current ARRT certification (R) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• State of Ohio radiology license (MRI technologists may apply without OH license)
• Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (preferred)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited healthcare program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a supervisor or manager)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Interventional Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, catheter/drain exchange, central venous access, embolization, nephrostomy, and more
• Operate Siemens imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all interventional procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EPIC (preferred)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
