Job Opportunity: Program Coordinator – Union County
Part-Time: 20 to 25 hours per week
Location: Union County, Ohio

Are you passionate about mental health advocacy and community support? Join NAMI Mid-Ohio as a Program Coordinator dedicated to growing and maintaining impactful education and support programs for families and individuals in Union County.

Core Responsibilities Program Support:
• Strengthen Family programming including:
o Family to Family Classes
o Family Support Groups
o ETS for Families
• Recruit, engage and support Union County program volunteers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners
• Lead community outreach and promote NAMI programs throughout Union County
• Expand program offerings and raise public awareness

Administrative & Operational Support:
• Manage phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
• Schedule in-house and external meetings
• Handle emails and in-person queries professionally and with care
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for programs
• Provide support for fundraising and development initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience in a similar program support or administrative role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (TEAMS, Word and Excel)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Lived experience as a family member supporting someone with a mental health condition is strongly preferred
• Residing in Union County is strongly preferred

Additional Expectations:
• Flexibility to support occasional evening programs and weekend events.
• Willingness to complete training for relevant NAMI Signature Programs.
• Ability to take on special projects and other duties as assigned.
