Heat Press Department Manager
Work Location: Lima, Ohio
Position Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (flexible)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to manage our Heat Press Department. This role includes overseeing daily production, operating heat press equipment, coordinating with sales and other departments, and ensuring that all jobs are completed accurately and on schedule. Basic design work may be included, but prior design experience is not required and can be taught.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the daily production schedule
- Completing jobs within required timeframes
- Pressing transfers, names, numbers, and patches onto garments and headwear
- Coordinating with sales staff and other internal departments
- Maintaining an organized and efficient workspace
- Ensuring quality standards are met across all finished products
- Learning or assisting with basic design creation when needed
- Monitoring supplies and supporting workflow improvements
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and good time-management skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Comfortable communicating with multiple departments
- Experience with heat press equipment or garment decoration preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn design software if applicable
- Basic computer skills
Work Environment & Schedule:
- First-shift position, Monday through Friday
- Flexible hours available
