OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Akron, OH by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Work with HMD Trucking from Akron running OTR dry van freight across the country in modern sleeper tractors under three years old. Drivers are supported by dedicated in-house maintenance and a dispatch team focused on safety and on-time deliveries.

Primary responsibilities:

• Safely operate a CDL-A dry van truck on long-haul interstate runs and secure shipments for transit.
• Complete comprehensive pre/post-trip inspections, maintain ELD logs, and follow DOT regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatch for routing and arrival windows while protecting cargo integrity.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable over-the-road experience.

Pay starts at 65 CPM, with dependable freight, regular home time every two weeks, and bonus programs.
