Ohio Trauma Surgery Employment - 45 miles east of Columbus
Job Description
Genesis HealthCare System is currently seeking a Trauma Surgeon to join our team. This role is well-suited for physicians with trauma surgery fellowship training who are looking to maintain a diverse and engaging practice.
The position offers a hybrid model, with approximately 60% of time dedicated to trauma and acute care surgery, and 40% focused on general surgery. In addition to trauma responsibilities, the practice includes a broad range of general surgery cases such as breast, colorectal, endoscopy, and minimally invasive procedures—providing a balanced and comprehensive clinical experience.
Recruitment Package:
- 3 year guaranteed base salary starting at $national median & up based on experience

Aspects of this Position Include:
- Modern, state-of-the-art hospital with 12 ORs, including 1 hybrid room, and robotic platform
- Newly renovated Endoscopy Suites
- Ambulatory Surgery Center and physician office located on medical campus
- Level III Trauma Center
- High Volume Robotic Program with 2 Xi Robots
- Participate in general/trauma surgery call; 1:6 or better
- Share our philosophy of patient and family-centered care
- Epic EMR
- 24 Hr. In-house critical care physician
- BC/BE in General Surgery
- Completed FCVS and CAQH applications
- Possess or eligible for an unencumbered Ohio medical license and unrestricted DEA
This is an employed position with Genesis' physician-governed medical group. Very competitive compensation package, CME of $5,000/year, 7 weeks vacation, other financial incentives, and comprehensive benefits.
