The following position is an opening in the Elgin Local Schools for the 2026-2027 school year: Position: High School English-Language Arts Teacher Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors DegreeProper Certification/Licensure BCI/FBI clearanceEssential Functions: Teach core ELA skills using approved curriculum and methods.Collaborate with other staff to implement effective educational programs.Evaluate student growth, assign grades, track attendance, and provide feedback on student work.Establish and maintain a positive, orderly, and productive learning environment.Support students by identifying student needs, cooperate with counselors and other staff and support students well being.
