Bruns Building & Development, which is a part of Bruns Construction Enterprises, Inc., has been serving the industrial, commercial, and institutional construction industry for more than 70 years. We do large dirt projects, manufacturing facilities, reroof projects, warehousing, renovation, schools and church work. The majority of our work is self-performed with warranties that exceed industry warranties. We are looking for people who are self-motivated and want a career. This company is an Associate Owned Company (ESOP) which is the difference between a job and an opportunity.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a carpenter. The position will include installing cabinetry, trim, flooring, and tile. The carpenter will work in a combination of new construction and remodel jobs. Responsibilities will progress as applicant gets more experience in the field.
Preferred Skills:
- Competence with hand tools associated with the craft
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- A basic understanding of how to read blueprints
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work in multiple positions
Experience/Requirements:
- Previous construction experience
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license
