Food Leader

Job Overview

The job of the Food Leader is to ensure smooth operations based on training our team
members, recipe leadership, and proper food inventory. They are asked to help implement and streamline all Boss
systems to keep an efficient workflow of daily operations . The Food Leader will lead staff to ensure perfect food service at all times while also using unreasonable hospitality.

Responsibilities

• par levels (prep and ordering)
• accurate ordering
• organization of storage areas
• Fryer oil schedule
• Hood inspection and cleaning compliance
• Detailed equipment cleaning
• Maintaining zero critical violations with local Board of Health
• Reporting maintenance/facilities issues through the manager log
• Fixing maintenance/facilities issues.
• Working interviews
• Training new team members
• Developing team members on the Food track
• Leading new menu item training
• Ensuring all invoices are processed and sent to correct accounting emails
• Enforces operating systems to prevent all cross-contamination
• Enforces recipe adherence
• Compliance with waste reporting and COGS% target
• Covering call-offs as needed
• Leading quarterly gluten training
• Unreasonable Hospitality
• Any additional tasks that management sees fit

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age of older to be able to serve alcohol to guests
• Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8 hours uninterrupted
• Must hold a valid servsafe manager certification
• Minimum of 2+ Years BOH Supervisory experience
• Minimum of 5+ years line experience
• Must have open availability for all needed shifts
• Must have no write-ups for a total of 6 consecutive months (If you are an exsisting Boss ChickNBeer employee)
