What You Will Do…

• Develops and administers the extensive data collection and records maintenance program for all records (i.e., hard copy & electronic) within the central office and field offices of the Division of Oil & Gas.
• Establishes procedures for maintenance of records, efficient storage of records, naming conventions of records, and the inventory of records.
• Provides advice and consultation on records management and data collection to agency records contact, Division personnel, and others.
• Establishes records retention schedules based upon their administrative, legal, and fiscal value.
• Directly supervises the work of Records Management Officers by coordinating duties and procedures as well as verifying the accuracy of prepared, sorted, scanned, and indexed documents.
• Starting hourly pay of $24.97/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 3.5 years of service, with an end salary of $30.40/hr.
• There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the Exempt pay range schedule & longevity rates Exempt Employees E1 | Department of Administrative Services.

6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in records management AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/ techniques AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in employee training & development AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations or business communications.

• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
