Job Openings Associate Research Analyst (Multiple Positions Available)

Edgewater Research is seeking multiple Associate Research Analysts to join our growing team. These are full-time, in-person roles supporting our industry-leading institutional research offering within the Technology and Industrial sectors. We are hiring across a range of experience levels — from recent graduates to candidates with several years in research or finance — and responsibilities will be calibrated to your background.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with our senior analyst teams to produce differentiated, high-quality institutional research within the Technology and Industrial sectors, with a focus on AI and Datacenter Infrastructure and broadline Industrial.
• Conduct primary channel research, including identifying, recruiting, and networking with industry experts, suppliers, distributors, and other key sources across the Technology and Industrial ecosystems.
• Attend industry events, analyst days, and company events to build and deepen channel relationships across the supply chain.
• Develop and maintain a deep knowledge base on companies under coverage — tracking product cycles, competitive dynamics, and end-market trends to inform our research views.
• Work with the team to interpret industry data and write compelling research notes and thematic reports, with exposure to financial modeling and earnings analysis.
• Build and maintain relationships with supply chain participants and institutional investor clients, including participation in investor marketing and client meetings.
• Contribute to the development of new research products and methodologies in collaboration with the broader analyst team.

Who We're Looking For

• Intellectually curious with a strong investigative mentality and a passion for understanding the global Technology and Industrial supply chains.
• Capable of critical thinking and intellectual humility, given the nuance and complexity of the sectors we cover.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, fast-paced team environment.
• Willing to work outside traditional business hours given the diverse, global nature of the supply chain.
• Genuine interest in the stock market, with a willingness to become an expert in one of several sub-sectors, including semiconductors, storage, compute, fluid power, or the electrical ecosystem.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and concisely.
• Bachelor's degree required; coursework or experience in finance, economics, or a technology, industrial-related field is preferred.
