Your day to day as a Property ManagerAs a new Property Manager at EDEN, your day-to-day expectations will be dynamic and engaging. You will oversee property operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents. Daily tasks will include conducting property inspections, managing tenant inquiries, and coordinating maintenance requests. You will also develop relationships with residents, addressing their needs with empathy and a customer-centric approach.
Your schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday, with regular office hours, complemented by a rotating weekend on-call schedule to address urgent issues that may arise. This role requires both initiative and flexibility as you work to resolve problems promptly. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to implement innovative solutions, contributing to the overall excellence of our property management services.
Requirements for this Property Manager jobTo excel as a Property Manager at EDEN, you will need a strong foundation in property management and social services. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of pertinent work experience are preferred. Familiarity with property management software and tools is essential to streamline operations effectively. A valid Ohio driver's license with four points or less, along with an operable vehicle and proof of insurance, is required for this role.
Previous experience in nonprofit or social services, or a related property management field, will enhance your ability to meet the diverse needs of our residents. Strong communication skills are vital; the ability to communicate in multiple languages is a valuable asset that will help you connect with our community more effectively. Problem-solving, empathy, and a customer-centric mindset will be key to your success in this position.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- A Bachelor's Degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience are preferred.
- A valid OH driver's license with 4 points or less
- Operable vehicle and proof of insurance
- Previous experience in a non-profit
- Social social-services related field or property management as well as the ability to communicate in multiple languages are preferred.
