We are currently recruiting an experienced Speech Therapist to support both Ohio Oaks Nursing Center and Glenwood Nursing Center. Flexible PRN and Part-time schedule and travel reimbursement!

Ohio Oaks Nursing Center is currently seeking an experienced Speech Therapist that is licensed or in the immediate process, and qualifies, of obtaining Speech Therapist licensure in the state of Ohio to work in the specialty area of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Long Term Care (LTC).

Speech Therapist Key Responsibilities

The Speech Therapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for residents in healthcare, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings. The Speech Therapist collaborates closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication abilities, cognitive-linguistic skills, and swallowing safety. This role focuses on enhancing residents’ quality of life by helping them regain functional communication and swallowing abilities.

Speech Therapist Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Speech Therapist specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Long Term Care (LTC).
• Current Speech Therapist license in Ohio.
